As one of emerging universities, Pontianak State Polytechnic continuously conducts various improvements in various fields, including increases collaboration both in national and international level. The efforts are taken to improve Polnep qualities, including its graduates. Moreover, those collaborations are set to transform Polnep as the Center of Excellence, Standard, Innovation, and Creativity. The latest one was when the Director of Pontianak State Polytechnic, Ir. H. M. Toasin Asha, M.Si. paid a visit as well as signing Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universite de Valenciennes, France for internship program. The signing ceremony was held at the campus of Polnep’s counterpart in France on 5 October 2015. On the same occasion, Director Asha formally ceded two Polnep students, namely Doni Ilhamsyah and Irma Yunita, who will have their internships at the Universite de Valenciennes for three months, which will be ended on 28 December 2015.
Following the signing, Director Asha accompanied by Deputy Director IV, Hj. Utin Nina Hermina, SE, M.Si. and the Coordinator of Polnep International Office, M. Ali, had a campus tour by visiting classrooms, laboratories, workshops, library, and witness a teaching and learning process at one of international classes there at Universite de Valenciennes. Prior to this visit, this French university has first sent four of its students, that is Arthur Flipo, Elyas I’m Hand, Tanguy Legrand, and Pierre Schulz to have internships at Polnep back in April to June 2015.
